About BiO centre and Bio Community Cluster (BioCC)
BiO centre is a virtual organization that is formed to enhance the freest and openmost exchange of knowledge in biological science and engineering.It has been on the Internet since 1995. People who made BiO centre suggest basic principles and philosophical ideas on how we can do scientific and engineering research as well as practical knowledge management of the world. BiO manages biological information mostly at the moment. Therefore it is mainly a bioinformatics institute. As bioinformatics is essentially biology in practice, its scope is not limited to informatics. It can also cover many areas of biology such as ornithology and ecology.

- BiO centre is the centre for researching Biological Information Objects. It is open and free in handling data and managing the organization.

- BiO is an open institute and anyone can join and leave.

BiOcentre proposes progressive concepts in using biological data,new types of databases,and new waysof looking at old problems. We encourage members to propose and realize radical and revolutionary methods in science and engineering. BioIdeas on information sharing in science and engineering.
